Violaine Muras, a Paris native, studied in Philadelphia before pursuing her career in London and Los Angeles. For 15 years, she worked in fashion and beauty with iconic houses such as Condé Nast, Burberry, and OPI. When the pandemic upended her Californian life, she returned to Paris with her family and chose to reinvent herself.

“I found myself sketching sculptural, fluid shapes inspired by nature. I was exploring shadow and light — an ode to freedom. That’s when I knew it was time to be bold. So I took a leap of faith and launched my first jewelry collection.”

And so Mélusine was born — a debut collection of organic, architectural creations designed to embody a femininity woven equally from light and shadow, where every piece celebrates empowerment and freedom.

Designed by Violaine, each piece comes to life in her Paris atelier — handcrafted, gilded with 24k gold, and finished with a brushed texture. Staying true to her values, she works exclusively with recycled metals and ethically sourced stones.
