With her new Artemis jewelry collection, Violaine Muras continues her exploration of a powerful, instinctive, and untamed femininity. Following in the footsteps of Mélusine, our designer imagined sculptural, organic forms—volumes of gold seemingly in perpetual motion, captured mid-flow. Each piece plays with light and shadow, hinting at a raw energy that has become the signature of her vision of free, unrestrained femininity.
The collection draws inspiration from Artemis, goddess of the moon and the hunt. A fiercely independent archer, she embodies realms of clarity—the instinct to protect, the guidance of young women—as well as fully embraced shadows: uncompromising ferocity, swift judgment, and a radical independence that keeps her distant from compromise. Artemis tolerates no transgression of her boundaries.
This tension flows through every design: powerful, raw lines softened by organic curves; a bold architectural presence that feels alive, animated by movement and the play of light.
At the heart of the collection is lapis lazuli, a stone that naturally opens the heart to adventure. Its deep blue evokes the moonlit night, the silent anticipation before the hunt, and a total focus on the moment. Each stone has been carefully selected for its rarity, quality, and ethical sourcing.
True to her commitments, Violaine Muras creates every piece in her Parisian atelier: metals are recycled, gilded in 24-karat gold, and finished with a delicate brushed texture. The result is a collection that balances strength and grace—a tribute to the wild, untamed spirit of femininity.
